Kevin Gurr
Kevin Gurr was the first Technical Diving Instructor outside of the USA in the early 90's and is an IT at all levels. He was the first engineer to develop an EANx dive computer in the late 1980's, is the co-author of Proplanner Decompression software and the designer of the VR range of mixed gas dive computers and the Ouroboros and Sentinel Rebreathers. He is also a product consultant and has been involved in the development of many of todays Technical Diving product.
He has led many global diving projects including the first sport diving expedition to HMHS Britannic, he has dived the Lusitania and the USS Monitor as well as leading and taking part in several archaeological expeditions and filming projects for television. He pioneered the use and training of mixed gas rebreathers for Technical Diving.
He has authored several training manuals and books for Technical Diving. Including, 'Technical Diving from the Bottom Up', a complete guide to the sport.
